Months after their first fanmeeting in Singapore, the boys of Wanna One returned for their first concert, Wanna One World Tour “ONE: THE WORLD”.

Wanna One not only thrilled Wannables (the name their fans go by) with a string of heart-thumping performances but also showcased individual charms through dance solos and sub-unit performances.

The night started off with Burn It Up, Never and Energetic, before easing into sub-unit performances by No 1 and Lean On Me. Then came what felt like a huge singalong session, as Wannables sang along with Wanna One during Always. At one point, the boys even stopped singing to listen to the beautiful voices of their fans fill the stadium (Daehwi mentioned this at the end of the concert).

Before they moved onto the next sets of sub-unit performances by The Heal and Triple Position, they delighted everyone with what they call “the selfie game”. Daniel gave them scenarios to act out, including what to do when your girlfriend is upset with you, saying “so shiok!” after a refreshing drink and exclaiming “damn nice!” while eating chilli crab. Needless to say, everyone cracked up with laughter, with the boys also laughing at each other.

The paced picked up again with DJ Hankki’s (who is actually Jisung) deejaying segment, including dance performances to his remix of We Don’t Talk Anymore and Freaky Friday. Wannables fanchanted along to Wanna Be, Twilight and Pick Me before the night came to a close with Gold and I Promise You.

As the boys gathered to say their thank yous and goodbyes, they also promised that they will see each other again soon when they return (soon).

Wanna One will be in Singapore for a second time this year for Hallyu Pop Fest 2018. For more information, head over to the official website.
