SINGAPORE, 29 April 2019 – Prominent Kpop star, Hyolyn, made her first-ever solo appearance in Malaysia on 27 April 2019 at a private event held in conjunction with PUMA Southeast Asia’s anchor campaign of the year – the PUMA #CaliTravelog featuring the iconic PUMA Cali sneakers.
Replicating the ‘Cali vibe’, the party atmosphere featured elements such as warm lighting and boho-chic décor, making it a colourful Instagrammable space for party-goers to hang out and catch the exciting acts lined up.
Illuminating the stage with her rhythmic choreography and powerful vocals, Hyolyn took the stage by storm as she belted out some of her hit singles such as See Sea, Bae and Dally. Hyolyn’s signature dance move, the Dally dance, got her fans to groove along with her.
To further amp up her performance, Hyolyn invited three lucky fans on to the stage with her to participate in a dance-off, which made the night unforgettable.
Renowned Malaysian Content Creator, Jenn Chia, hosted the event and kept the audience entertained with her bubbly personality and by sharing some light banters with Hyolyn.
Speaking to her fans at the event, Hyolyn expressed her delight to be in Malaysia and how she is looking forward to be up close and personal with her Malaysian fans during her upcoming concert in June.
“Kuala Lumpur is one of the stops included in my World Tour and I am really excited to perform here again. It will be my chance to entertain the Malaysian audience and interact with my fans whom I dearly miss.
Apart from the Kpop powerhouse, PUMA friends and brand ambassadors from Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia were also in attendance enjoying activities such as free-to-play mini bungee and festival foods including burgers, popcorns, cotton candy from food trucks and stalls.
Some of the notable attendees from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia included Dawn Yeoh, Sonia Chew, DJ Cza, Charis Ow, Alexis Sue Ann, as well as Koe Yeet , Hanan Helme among others.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Hyolyn will be the face of the PUMA #CaliTravelog campaign and ardent fans of the Kpop sensation across the region have since been hoping to catch a glimpse of the star in Southeast Asia.
Formerly from popular Kpop group SISTAR, Hyolyn decided to pursue a solo career in music and has amassed international success through chartbusters such as SEE SEA, BAE and Dally.
